Beijing Capital Development Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BCDH) was officially established on December 10th, 2005. Guided by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, the former Chengkai and Tianhong groups merged to form BCDH. As a large-scale municipal state-owned enterprise, BCDH specializes in residential property development, agent construction, developer-owned properties operation, and property management.

Over the past thirty years, BCDH has established itself as an industry leader. As one of the earliest real estate developers in China, BCDH is now one of the largest and best performing companies in terms of comprehensive strength. With total assets of over RMB 100 billion, its annual starting/restarting construction area exceeds 9 million square meters. In addition, the property management and developer-owned property operation areas have reached 22 million and 1 million square meters respectively. 

BCDH’s scope of business includes the development of commercial, residential, and affordable housing, property operation (including hotel operation), and property management. Based in Beijing, BCDH has expanded its business to more than a dozen provinces and municipalities, such as Tianjin, Suzhou, Taiyuan, and Fuzhou. In addition, it has invested and set up overseas subsidiaries in the United States, Holland, Australia, Hong Kong, and Macao. 

In the past three decades, BCDH has developed a variety of high-profile residential projects and government-initiated affordable housing projects, including Xiluoyuan Community, Fangzhuang Community, Wangjing New Town, and Beijing’s largest affordable housing compound, Huilonguan. The total development area adds up to 40 million square meters. In addition, BCDH built the athletes’villages for the Asian, Universiade, and Olympic Games. It also designed and constructed several Olympic and Paralympic Games venues, for example the National Stadium and Wukesong Basketball Stadium. 

BCDH prioritizes quality and energy efficiency in its projects and has won many prestigious national and municipal awards and honors. Such awards include, among others, Beijing’s“The Great Wall Cup for Great Structure”,“The Excellent Engineering Design,”as well as the Certificate for Green Building. BCDH has been honored as one of the Top 10 Real Estate Developers and Developers with High Social Responsibility in China for eleven consecutive years. The Corporate Division of Development and Research Center of the State Council, Tsinghua University Real Estate Institute and China Index Research Academy jointly release these annual lists. Most recently, at the Press Conference of the 2013 China Real Estate Brand Values Research Results and the 10th China Real Estate Brand Development Summit, BCDH ranked 2nd among the Top 10 State-owned Real Estate Developers in China in terms of brand equity. BCDH’s brand value amounts to RMB 9.523 billion.
