On April 13th, 2014, the “Act of Green,” a tree-planting event cohosted by BCDH and The Beijing News, was held in the southern suburb of Beijing’s Yanqing County. More than 300 people, including BCDHemployees and their families, readers of The Beijing News, and representatives of the Yanqing County government, showed up for the event and planted 300 saplings.
